ANDY ASKINS

Andy Askins is a diminutive figure who exudes an air of vulnerability as he steps up to the microphone armed with a guitar and a cheeky grin. It’s an overwhelmingly misleading demeanour which serves to heighten the impact of the killer lines that he delivers.

RAYMOND TIMPKINS

Very experienced raconteur, bon viveur and dry cleaning impresario, Mr Timpkins can make his tongue into a tube shape and confesses this is perhaps his proudest achievement. His passion for the Cyber Punk movement is well known with his bowler hat and goggles look launching a million impersonators including Frank Bough and Melanie Sykes. Rescued raymond from a dry cleaners where he was being held to flatten sheets. Is grateful for any attention, particularly from small dogs and supermarket green grocers.

Since 2001, Lucy has been a huge hit with comedy audiences up and down the country with her distinctive, bouncy, feel-good comedy. There’s always a philosophical element to her shows, covering the topics that matter in her life: The erosion of our civil liberties, the rise of surveillance society, the infantilization of grown-ups, the reason why so many comedians are depressive alcoholics and the ingredients for a really excellent dirty martini.

Peeking inside the Technicolor mind of one of Britain’s finest comic talents and you will find him desperately doing battle with “The Voices”, two unpredictable and hilarious Voices in Terry’s Head. JOHN MOLONEY

“One of the best things about watching live comedy is seeing a comedian get his second wind of inspiration.  Sometimes an established comic suddenly finds something extra, and one of these comics is John Moloney.  He’s been a headliner at top clubs like the Comedy Store for years – yet his comedy has acquired more depth, as well as an even sharper edge.”

William Cook – The Guardian.

John Moloney is one of the most creative and professional comedians I have had the pleasure to work with – quick off the mark – John will have had the audience laughing three times in the time that it takes any other comedian to say ‘hello’…

PHIL WALKER

Phil Walker radiates an infectious, cheeky energy. He is as comfortable with stand-up as he is with audience interaction, employing Usain-quick wit,He keeps running jokes alive with perfect timing.” – Three Weeks Edinburgh ****

His set moves seamlessly and seemingly effortlessly. The gags and observations keep on coming thick and fast, He can pretty much guarantee a good night out, Walker is crackingly good!” – Chortle.

Comedian Phil Walker continues to evolve in leaps and bounds & his material is as up to date as tonights news.” – The Stage

The audience were instantly in stitches at Phil`s brilliantly culturally and socially relevant humour. Phil had a remarkable knack of stating what everyone else in the room was thinking, creating an absolutely hilarious atmosphere all round due to the fact that everyone could relate to the points made in his set so well. Strengthening the idea that people could relate to his jokes, constant references were made to famous names and the media in general, a technique that seemed very well received.” – Arts in Leicestershire

BEN NORRIS

Ben is a highly experienced and hugely well respected stand-up. He’s been performing comedy since 1993 and is renowned for his incredibly relaxed stage persona and his innate ability to improvise as well as deliver sharply crafted material.

Ben has written and performed three solo shows at The Edinburgh Festival – ‘Sitting room only’ (1997), ‘Mr Ambiguousness’ (2013) and ‘Benny on the loose’ (2014). Ben was Ed Byrne’s tour support for his 2013 UK tour and appeared at the Apollo, Hammersmith. He also acted in a play developed with the ‘Comedians Theatre Company’ called ‘The last minutes’ which was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in February 2014.

Other interesting facts about Ben: he’s the cousin of actor Martin Freeman and also the father of triplets (2 girls and a boy).

The term “circuit legend” is overused, but Norris is one of a handful that have been headlining for more than two decades and rarely departs a stage without leaving it torn to shreds in his wake. A master of the craft, this will be an hour of the most polished stand-up you are likely to see.” – GQ Magazine

An acerbic attitude, a well-stocked arsenal of sharp lines and the wherewithal to work any crowd make Norris one of the more engaging and enjoyable comics on the circuit” – Chortle
