SilverBlue Entertainment Ltd is a production company, committed to developing and producing quality products, with the aim of driving new energy and new audiences into British Theatre, Television and Film.

Barry Satchwell Smith

Founding Partner

A graduate of Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, Barry has been the lead producer on the West End and Broadway, as well as worked on national tours in the UK and US.
In L.A. he worked for Fountain Bridge Films, Sean Connery’s production company at Sony Studios, before setting up SilverBlue Pictures LLC. SilverBlue Pictures has produced work in both film and theatre, including the multi-award winning film, The Blue Hour, and the highly reviewed play Mistrial, which Barry also directed. Barry set up and ran the newTACTics division of TACT (www.TACTnyc.org) Since moving back to London just a couple of years ago, as well as several concerts (Van Morrison and Curtis Stigers) and shows, Barry has been nominated for an Olivier Award for Tell Me On A Sunday starring Marti Webb and is most proud of producing the incredibly star studded and celebrated Follies at the Royal Albert Hall.



General Manager and Producer

Brad originally trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. For three years he was the General Manager of Stanhope Productions and was Associate Producer on many West End shows such as Fiddler On The Roof  starring Henry Goodman, Summer and Smoke with Chris Carmack and Rosamund Pike, Epitaph for George Dillon starring Joseph Fiennes and RENT Remixed directed by Kylie Minogue’s creative mogul Will Baker.

Other notable credits include Associate Producer of Harley-Davidsons 100th Anniversary Party on the shores of Lake Michigan, a six-hour concert attended by 250,000 Harley-Davidson riders. Brad also wrote the script and many of the show links for the host Dan Ackroyd.

For eight years Brad was the resident Writer, Director and Dame of the record breaking Pantomime seasons for the Cambridge Arts Theatre. Brad has been highly praised for his pantomime writing and writes and hires scripts to various theatres including a nine-year association with the Towngate Theatre Basildon. His family-friendly Pantomime scripts are in much demand and come highly praised gathering five star reviews in the UK’s leading Entertainment industry newspaper ’The Stage’.

Between 2010 and 2015 Brad was Producer at Curve, Leicester where he worked on many notable productions such as Gypsy, Hairspray, Chicago, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Hot Stuff!, Abigail’s Party, The Sound of Music, 42nd Street, The Long Road, Buried Child, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Absurd Person Singular, Entertaining Mr. Sloane, Hello Dolly!, The King & I, Oliver!, Obama The Mamba, The Beauty Queen of Leenane, Serious Money and Piaf. 
In 2015 Brad produced My Dogs Got No Nose and Crocodiles in Cream, both of which toured the UK.
